Odyssey of the Mind is open to third, fourth and fifth grade students. Students may try out for Odyssey of the Mind at the beginning of each school year. Students need to demonstrate their skills in spontaneous and long-term problem solving during tryouts. Currently, Pinebrook has three teams. Teams meet as required to prepare for competitions with other Odyssey of the Mind clubs. .
Chorus is a performance group open to fifth grade students by audition. Auditions are held during the first semester. Club members practice once a week in preparation for at least three performances during the school year. The club performs for PTA, participates with Shady Grove Elementary for a joint performance and performs for other events as opportunities occur.
